EMP MEME
Curious about what characters might be a good fit here or just need a little push to make up your mind? The EMP meme is a low-pressure space to put your feelers out. This is where you can share which characters you're considering, whether they're strong contenders or just a "maybe if someone twists my arm."

Character Name: Vetra Nyx
Canon: Mass Effect Andromeda
Age & Romance Preferences: late 20s/early 30s, bisexual with slight female preference
About:
Vetra is a turian woman from the Mass Effect series; the point from which sentient species are moving to colonize a whole new galaxy outside the Milky Way. Basically that means she’s a 7’ tall alien covered in scales and plating, with a cool double-voice thing going on. Humans and aliens have been in contact and sort of coexisting for a few decades now (more like centuries by the time Andromeda takes place).
Vetra grew up on her own and raised her younger sister herself. She’s a former smuggler slash mercenary slash whatever she had to be. And brought both her and her sister to the new Andromeda colonies for a better life. She’s tough and confident and would literally die for her sister’s safety.
She also likes ugly lamps and goofy breakfast cereal. Do not let her make steak for anyone human.
Potential Plans:
In game, her whole romance arc is showing her she can be loved for more than what she can do for people. Loved for herself, not her connections. That’s something she struggles with in all her relationships, friend or romantic. So that’d be good to get her past in an RP setting! She can Big Sister people easily enough, for plenty of platonic connections.
Besides, she deserves to live somewhere she doesn’t have to scavenge and scrape by to survive.
